For comparison: an SEO blog article from a German agency typically costs 400–800 EUR net. With SEOTHON an article costs 19.75–26.58 EUR depending on the plan – research, checks, publishing and reports included.
Prices and VAT
What you actually pay
All prices in euros. SEOTHON is a small business under German VAT law (Kleinunternehmer): for customers in Germany the exemption under section 19(1) of the German VAT Act applies, no VAT is charged, and the price shown is the amount payable.
For business customers established in another EU member state the place of supply is their own country: we invoice without VAT as well, and the customer accounts for VAT there under the reverse charge procedure at the rate applicable in that country. This requires a valid VAT identification number, which we verify before the first invoice.
SEOTHON works exclusively with businesses and professionals acting in the course of their trade or profession, and with public-sector bodies. We do not enter into contracts with private individuals.
Questions
What people ask before signing up
Why is the price per article lower in the bigger plans?
Setup, project knowledge and coordination happen per project, not per article. If a project runs with more articles a month, that fixed share spreads across more of them. The quality bar stays the same in every plan.
Is the number of articles guaranteed?
It is the planned capacity per month, not a guaranteed count. If an article fails the quality check it is revised or held back rather than shipped. What counts is what was produced, including a finished article still waiting as a draft for your approval. Unused capacity expires at the end of the month.
What if I need more articles in a single month?
You can buy additional articles once from the dashboard: 1 for 29 EUR, 3 for 79 EUR, 5 for 119 EUR, 10 for 199 EUR. They are used as soon as your plan's monthly capacity is exhausted, and they do not expire while your subscription runs. If you need more permanently, moving up a plan is cheaper.
What is in the monthly development report?
A compact status per project: what the published articles achieved, where the biggest opportunities are and what to do next. It is included in Growth and Scale; in Starter you can add it for 19 EUR a month and cancel monthly. The detailed quarterly reports (SEO analysis, articles and strategy) come with Growth and above.
Can I cancel?
Yes, monthly. There is no minimum term on the monthly billing period.
Do you write in English?
Yes. The language of each project is set per project, and the articles are written in that language. What is currently German only is our own dashboard interface and the sign-up process.
